Description
Anyone who has ever ridden or raced hard enduro knows it’s one of the most difficult forms of off-road motorcycle competition, especially if their bike of choice is equipped with tires that are worn out or old and hard as a rock. To help those who bravely take on such challenging terrain, Dunlop is now offering a tire designed specifically for extreme enduro—the Geomax Enduro EN91EX.
This new rear-only tire is based on the Geomax EN91 in terms of tread design, but is not DOT or FIM-approved. A reason for that is its rubber compound is supersoft to get traction in slick conditions – much like a trials tire or the special gummy tires used by top extreme enduro racers.
Features:
- A new super soft rubber compound provides tremendous traction in the gnarliest of conditions
- New construction has an additional ply to improve the linearity of the sidewall stiffness and enhance damping and absorption performance
- Progressive Cornering Block Technology (PCBT) on the shoulder knobs increases surface area of the interior block, while additional tread angles enhance grip, stability, and slide control
- Unlike the standard EN91, the EN91EX is neither DOT nor FIM Approved
