Changing your own tyres shouldn’t mean spending an arm and a leg on an industrial tyre machine or scratching your rim and busting your knuckles simultaneously with a couple of screwdrivers on your garage floor. The Street Bike Tyre Changer is made for those ready to ditch the struggle and make tyre changes fast, easy and frustration-free.
It works on cast, forged and spoked wheels from 12 to 21 inches and on tyres up to 250mm wide, including sport bikes, cruisers, Harleys, V-twins, touring bikes, adventure bikes, dual sports and single or double-sided swingarms. The included 15mm and 20mm spindles plus stepped bushing cover hub sizes ranging from 15–32mm; with the optional hub adapters, you’re good out to 68mm.
The plastic duck head on the Street Bike Tyre Changer keeps rims scratch-free during a change and is easily replaceable if you ever wear one out (they typically last hundreds of tyre changes.)
There’s no need to remove the brake discs or pulley as the frame can accommodate most wheel types, even “deep” wheels. The included Wheel Support Riser Blocks provide an additional 1⅓” of clearance if you have a deep wheel.
The compact 3 ft × 3 ft footprint stays stable without floor mounting by directing working force straight downward. The design is built for home use and small workshops, comfortable handling 4–6 changes a day.
If you’re running a non-standard hub like a BMW shaft drive, Ducati 56mm, oversized 32–68mm hubs or cross-spoked rims, Rabaconda makes a compatible adapter and duck head kit for cross-spoked rims, sold separately.
Please note: The Street Bike Tyre Changer isn’t built for mousse setups (use the Dirt Bike Tyre Changer for those). The Motorcycle Pit Mat is sold separately. Cracked-open bead grease and brushes don’t come back. And if your rim is wider than 8 inches or your tyre is wider than 250mm, unfortunately the Street Bike Tyre Changer won’t work on your wheel or tyre.
